Aakash-II would be launched in April: Kapil Sibal

Human resource development minister Mr. Kapil sibal announced” Aakash would be launched next month without increase in cost”. Aakash is an enhanced and faster version of a low cost tablet.

During question hour in Lok sabha, Mr. Kapil said that the manufacture of Aakash, data wind will launch 100,000 high speed Aakash table PCs with a better screen and battery life.

According to Mr. sibal “The new tablet’s better specifications that include 3200mAH battery with 3 hour battery backup, 700 MHz Cortex A8 processor and a capacitive touch screen have been required to get over the earlier issues observed in the tablets,”.

As per the demands of members for expanding the supply of tablet to school student, sibal response and said that once the anticipated National Mission of education for schools acquires required funds then the same would be available for schools.

Aakash-II Tablet would be a great advantage for students. This will help them to enhance their skills and study wherever they want without worrying for internet connection or computers.
